The Biograph MCT stream, driven by SIEMENS flowmotion1, is a PET / CT system that replaces step scan imaging. Flowmotion has realized PET continuous scanning by three major technologies: Maglev patient, carrier control system, solid state electronic architecture and new dynamic data processing. With the continuous scanning of the Biograph MCT stream, planning and scanning can be performed on the basis of a single bed continuous movement.
The authors provide a simple and accurate scanning range planning for each scan, reduce the over scan and related radiation problems, and simplify the workflow MCT flow.
